Jackie's Asian Dipping Sauce:
Mix together:
2 TBL Bragg's Liquid Aminos or 4 Tbl soy sauce
2 Tbl Peanut butter (I like chunky) or any other nut butter would work.
2 Tbl honey
1 Tbl vinegar (white wine or apple cider vinegar)
2 garlic cloves, pressed or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp sesame oil
1/8 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
This sauce goes great with Thai rolls. It is kind of like a hoisin sauce, only I don't like it spicy and mine is a little sweeter than a traditional hoisin. Click here for the recipe on my sister's blog.
This sauce also freezes well, so quadruple the recipe and freeze in increments you would use.
Warning, you'll have a hard time not eating more than your fair share of Thai rolls just because the sauce tastes so stinkin' good!
God Bless,
Jackie
Looks delicious Jackie. Thank you for sharing. I think I will have to try my hand at those Thai rolls too!
ReplyDeleteOh, I need to make these again, and soon! Your dipping sauce recipe looks very similar to mine. I use soy sauce though and I'm not sure if I use oil or not.
ReplyDeleteYour rolls look beautiful! Thanks for the link.
Hope you have a great cooking Monday, Sis!
Oh WOW! Those Thai rolls look amazing! Yum, Yum!
ReplyDeleteThat Thai roll was Catherine's when we visited her. I thought it was prettier than mine ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome! I am definitely going to make this! It's delicious and healthy too. Plus, I'm really getting into Asian food of late.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe!
I thought they looked like my Thai rolls!...and on my plate. Thank you for the dipping recipe. I make home-made plum sauce for one of the dips and store-bought peanut sauce for the other. But I'll try this one too.
ReplyDeleteYum...I *love* anything Thai! :)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted you to know that I didn't enter your giveaway since those things would be heavy and expensive to send to Canada...BUT...thank you for hosting!
Many blessings to you!
